Today in Russia we celebrate one of the greatest holidays – The Willow Sunday. In other countries it is known as The Palm Sunday – the day when Jesus entered into Jerusalem.
In different countries countries the holiday is devoted to branches of palm and other trees: boxwood, olive, willow.
In Russia the key tree is willow, and the holiday is called by it’s name.
Here the holiday is very gentle, and for me it is one of the most favorite events. It gives the great feeling of the coming Easter.
